Task: Igor Stravinsky " 3 pieces pertaining to String quartet” no . two
Contrasting reasons and different lines are the primary theme inside the second activity of Stravinsky´s " 3 pieces intended for String quartet”. The motion divides in to 5 distinct sections that every have different material and " cadence ".
The first section (bars 1-14) begins with repeated climbing down movement in every voices. The movement decreases a semitone in I violin and viola, whole tone in II violin, but the cello sustains for the a. These types of different interval movements make an intense bunch effect idea. In bars 5-6 is a short contrasting motive, more than octave higher in pitch and played pizzicato. This playful and rhythmical purpose is quite different to the rocking opening motive and their tempo and pitch are very contrasting. In bars 7-14 is definitely again the repeated beginning motive combined with rhythmical style from bars 5-6 inside the viola, leading to fusion of two several motives.
The second section (bars 14-26) begins with another different movement; a gently keyboard melody range in the I violin and cello which is interrupted in bar 16-17 by short pitches on every quaver of bar of sixteen. In bar 18 the melody line is repeated, but now the II violin and viola are signing up for, so the piano line recieve more weight as compared to bar 18. Bars 21-26 is a continuation of the pitch motive coming from bar of sixteen, but below the signup goes up and down in turns. As a result Stravinsky features taken the contrasting idea even further by simply putting the pitches objective against one another (bars 21-26).
The third section (bars 26-32) is different in the previous types since it is usually suddenly quicker and provides busy lines in all sounds. In tavern 30 the semi-quaver range (bars 26-30) leads to a different sequence in bar thirty-two where the fourth section commences.
